Today, we're taking you behind the scenes at Risu.Risu!
Camille, the brand's founder, and I were in Florence this week to participate in the Pitti Bimbo trade show. A historic fashion event, it had unfortunately been forced to cancel its last three editions due to COVID. But this year, it's back, and Risu.Risu had a booth there! For this edition dedicated to children's fashion, the show hosted us for three days.
To exhibit at the trade show, you have to be a business, which generally means being a brand. There were many clothing brands, but also accessory brands. We loved the beautiful, ethical, French-made Millow watches , for example! But we could also have been tempted by their glasses, bags...
The entrance to the trade show is reserved for business clients. That's why we're showcasing next summer's collection! Clients can envision the collections they'll sell next year through their retail outlets. The timing was perfect, as the weather was truly summery, ideal for imagining children next year in beautiful dresses and outfits!
The trade show was the perfect place to work on developing Risu.Risu. We don't know about you, but we love seeing the brand in stores everywhere. We think that the more we're present, the more children will be dressed in organic cotton clothing, even the dyeing process is certified, and all produced in Spain. More Risu.Risu for a better life!
We were lucky enough to meet buyers from all over, but we'll keep it a surprise and tell you more in a future post. We also chatted with some friends we know; it's often the same brands that participate in Pitti Bimbo, but also in PlayTime, or other trade shows.
