A mimosa wreath to preserve the best of late winter
This year mimosa is everywhere, brightening up all our homes. It's currently blooming in France and you can still find plenty at florists and markets.
This is the perfect opportunity to keep it nicely preserved and perhaps even give it to your children's grandmothers!
To make a mimosa wreath or other flower wreaths you will need:
.

.
- fairly thick, rigid florist's wire - very thin florist's wire
- Florist's tape
- Pruning shears,
- scissors
- 1 beautiful bunch of mimosa
.

.
Realization:
.
Make a wreath from thick wire. Wrap the wire around itself four times, creating a circle of your chosen size. Then cover it with florist's tape. Cut small pieces of mimosa to fit the size of the wreath.
.

Here's a large one and a small one. Attach the small pieces of mimosa to the wreath with the very thin wire until you go all the way around the wreath.
Once your wreath is finished, it's up to you to choose where to hang or place it to best enjoy it.
