Cherry clafoutis

A joyful symbol of summer and its whims, the cherry is a treat in itself, and we shouldn't deprive ourselves of it! For a simple and delicious dessert, cherry clafoutis remains a must-have on our summer tables!

Ingredients:.
500g of fresh cherries
40g of butter
+ 20g for the mold
3 eggs
25 cl of milk
25 cl of fresh cream
100g of cornstarch
100g of caster sugar + 2 tablespoons for the mold
2 sachets of vanilla sugar

Preparation :

- Turn on the oven to 180°
Boil the milk and add 1 sachet of vanilla sugar.
Butter and sugar the mold and add the stemmed cherries.
In a bowl, combine the cornflour and sugar. Add the beaten eggs.
Mix little by little and add the fresh cream until you obtain a smooth paste.
Add the vanilla milk and blend for 10 seconds. Pour the batter into the pan over the cherries. Bake for approximately 35-40 minutes.
Allow to cool and sprinkle with icing sugar.
Serve warm.

You can obviously replace the butter with vegetable margarine and the milk with oat or rice milk for a lighter dessert!
