How to give a second life to RISU RISU clothes

.

RISU RISU ticks all the boxes a priori so that the clothes can be used by younger brothers/sisters, cousins, but also more broadly beyond the family circle.

Resistant to the test of time and sought after in second-hand shops (online as well as physical), we were keen to find a solution to encourage mothers to take them out of their closets so that other children could benefit from them.

Tested by the creator herself on her own children, washed hundreds of times... the crash test done, it was just a matter of finding out how to do it when time is sometimes sorely lacking for both the creator (mompreneur!) and the mom clients.

The solution proposed by Il était plusieurs fois therefore seems to us an excellent compromise that we are keen to introduce to you!

Aude and Marie take care of your clean clothes (of course) and handle everything to sell them on the website, no more excuses for busy moms like us.

And so the circle of babies and children dressed in the softest way possible expands infinitely!

.

.

Aude and Marie, the dynamic duo behind IEPF, who are you?

Marie: My name is Marie, and I'm the happy mother of three children: Malo, Gustave, and Paola. I'm originally from Brittany but have been living in Nantes for the past five years. Before launching IL ETAIT PLUSIEURS FOIS with Aude, I worked in Parisian communications agencies.

.

When and how did you come up with the idea of creating IEPF?

Marie: Pregnant with my first child, I wanted to be able to dress him/her well in quality clothes without having to spend too much money. At the same time, I realized that many parents kept their children's clothes at home that they no longer used… and I thought it would be a good idea to connect everyone so that everyone is happy!

.

What is the main challenge for an online second-hand clothing sales site?

Marie: At the beginning of our venture, secondhand wasn't as popular, and many people were hesitant to buy secondhand without checking the quality of the clothing. That's why we've focused our positioning on carefully selecting the products we sell, as they are all inspected by hand.

.

What do you like most about your job?

Marie: Having ideas and being able to implement them immediately… without having to go through a hierarchy! I think it's great to have the flexibility to be able to test everything.

.

Which part is the most sought after?

Marie: I don't think there are any pieces that are more sought after than others. We showcase new items on Instagram… and it's true that they sell out quickly as soon as they're online!

.

Any advice for moms who want to sell their items?

Marie: Regularly sort through what their children will no longer wear.

But above all, don't part with items in which you have too many memories... it shouldn't be a heartbreak!

.

Thank you to Marie and Aude for taking the time to answer our questions.

.

.

We can only encourage you to take a little trip to Il était plusieurs fois, and entrust them with your RISU RISU clothes that you no longer use!

And of course, you might also find some gems there, which could allow you to get a model you had missed or buy back a beloved garment that is now too small.
