What if you rented the Josephine dress?

Are you familiar with Little Closerie?

We went to meet Anne-Charlotte, creator of this beautiful clothing rental website.

Eager to offer you the possibility of certain RISU.RISU pieces, we have relied on the expertise and experience of this committed mother:

Little.clotherie.Family is a website for renting occasional outfits for children (ceremony, skiing). Little.Clotherie.Family was born from a threefold observation:

1. Children grow quickly and consequently have a great need to renew their wardrobes; some of their clothes are worn so little that they can easily live not one but several new lives.

2. We overconsume and the planet is in danger; it is urgent to change our ways of thinking and our consumption habits. The textile industry is the second most polluting industry in the world.

3. Quality clothing from both large and small, niche brands is expensive.

My experience as a mother also led me to question the value of buying, for example, a christening outfit that a child will only wear for one day, or a ski suit for one week a year. My ambition was therefore to offer a new, more responsible, sustainable, and humanistic consumption model (in order to take immediate action), through an exceptional, practical, and simple rental experience.

Goodbye to clothes thrown in the trash or those gathering dust at the back of the closet. Hello to choice, freedom, and meaning!

That's why I launched Little.Clotherie.Family, a premium service for renting individual outfits from the finest children's brands: to rent an exceptional outfit without breaking the bank, in a responsible way, for a religious ceremony, a family or friendly celebration, or a seasonal activity such as skiing, for example.

Interests:

Having the right outfit in the right size for any season and event will help you stop wasting money on impulsive and expensive purchases.

playing with fashion for your children, testing a new style without committing to a purchase,

To be free to change whenever you want!

to say stop to overconsumption of clothing and thus contribute to saving our planet suffocated by textile pollution and to enter into an eco-responsible approach in the way we consume.

My life as a responsible mother:

I am not perfect but I try to establish habits within my family and to explain in particular to my 5 year old son the value of water so as not to waste it (not to run the water while brushing teeth, to limit baths as much as possible, to reuse dishwater, etc…).

Also, I try to raise his awareness by watching documentary films about the disastrous effects of plastic on the blue planet, for example.

I strongly believe in the power of educating our children to save their world.

.

Eco-friendly tip:

It's funny, but I've never considered myself "eco-friendly," even though I follow some eco-friendly lifestyle rules. My advice would be to stop throwing everything away at home because everything can be repurposed.

Today, there are many services that help us repair, transform, and upcycle. (Murfy, Tilli, Canette…)

I strongly believe in the power of this new economy.

My best stain removal tip:

Yes, my job, besides that of a logistics specialist, is also that of a laundress ;-) I use a lot of white vinegar, but also baking soda and lemon juice.

.

Favorite Risu Risu piece:

I fell in love with a summer pyjama style this year: the Grandpa Sleeper, which I'll have my son wear both day and night. I love the stripes :)
