Valentine's Day crackers

In all families we love each other but we never say it enough!

Here's an idea for a craft to do on Sunday the 13th for example or before if you want to please your loved ones and have some fun!

.

You will need:

- Empty toilet paper rolls - Various gift papers - Mini cards and envelopes or papers for messages - Tissue paper - Scissors and tape - Mini gifts like our organic cotton handkerchiefs or barrettes! - Confetti

.

.

How to do it:

Cover the rolls with wrapping paper, protruding 7 cm on each side. Tape the wrapping paper and make fringes at both ends, leaving 2cm near the edge of each roll to close them better. Write small words, drawings or other on small cards. Put them in the crackers along with the confetti and barrettes or handkerchiefs or other mini gifts. Close the crackers with a thin, flexible string.

The farandole of hearts

.

Use tissue paper to make a pretty ephemeral decoration that will delight children!

Fold the paper into regular 4 cm accordions.

Draw half a heart, making sure that the outer part touches the edge of the fold for 2 cm to avoid cutting it and to make a link between the hearts.

Cut out and unfold!

Children will be delighted!

The branches to be "forced" inside

.

Nature lovers and spring enthusiasts have always known about this technique to speed up the flowering of shrub branches indoors!

Pick a branch of prunus, forsythia, wild cherry, hawthorn or hazel and put it in a large vase filled with water. The graphic beauty of the bare branch will soon be followed by a beautiful, poetic bloom that is so pleasing to the eye.
